reached the decision to admit provisionally ZRS as its member,
which needed to be certified by the General Assembly of
UIC |

General Assembly of UIC in Berlin accepted the proposal
of Executive Board of UIC and admitted ZRS as the member
of UIC. The ZRS had to accept the division of debts, rolling
stock and traction units, and change the company’s
prefix from JODP to JOP; also it was determined that entities
cannot represent the country. |

ZRS become member of CIT, based on the request submitted
on March 10, 1997 and renewed on May 18, 1999, along with
several meetings held with CIT in the beginning of 2000
and meeting in Sarajevo between: CIT-OHR-ZRS-ZFBH-Entity
Ministries on April 24, 2004. ZFBH opposed the admittance,
claiming it to be division of Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina. |
